Booking & Purchase Policy

The facilities provided by Escape Bathhouse Pty Ltd (hereinafter referred to as ‘Escape Bathhouse’) are intended for personal recreation, relaxation, and wellness purposes only. No information provided during your visit, on our website, or through any physical or digital communications from Escape Bathhouse is intended to substitute for medical advice, nor does it involve the diagnosis, prognosis, or prescription of remedies for the treatment or prevention of any disease or ailment. If you have concerns regarding the use of our facilities, have a medical condition, or are taking any prescription medications, it is essential that you consult your general practitioner or physician before making a booking.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Our standard cancellation policy applies to all bookings:

• Bathhouse sessions: cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your start time.
• Treatments: cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your start time.
• Late cancellation or no-show may result in forfeiture of the applicable portion of your booking or voucher.

Pregnancy Guidelines

During pregnancy, it is important not to raise your core body temperature above recommended levels. Hot spas, saunas, steam rooms, and ice baths are not suitable for use if you are pregnant, as these facilities cause an increase to core body temperature or, in the case of cold temperatures, can cause the uterus to contract. Our relaxation areas, pregnancy massage treatments, and wellness bar are all facilities that can be used during pregnancy.

Age Requirements

Escape Bathhouse cannot accommodate anyone under 18 years of age due to insurance requirements and to maintain quiet enjoyment for all guests.

Respectful Conduct

We ask that you are respectful of other guests who share the bathhouse facilities and our staff members. If at any time we determine that other guests, staff on-site, equipment, or the space is not being respected, our staff members reserve the right to ask you to leave without refund of your reservation fee.

Dress Code

Our dress code requires appropriate swimwear that would be suitable at public pool or bathing facilities to be worn at all times in bathing areas, unless specified otherwise. Proper swimwear must be worn (usual clothing like cotton t-shirts or shorts cannot be worn in place of swimwear). Nudity is not permitted.

Bathhouse Etiquette

The following are NOT permitted:

• Using phones or cameras in a manner that captures images or recordings of other guests. Mobile phones may be used on silent for personal photography only, provided no other guests are visible in images or recordings.
• Engaging in any hazardous, dangerous, sexual, or indecent behaviour as deemed by staff or a representative of Escape Bathhouse.
• Damaging any facilities, equipment, furniture, or other property within the bathhouse.
• Having in possession or being under the influence of any illicit substances prohibited by law.
• Consuming or being under the influence of alcohol. Escape Bathhouse does not serve alcohol and it is not permitted on the premises.
• Refusal to comply with instructions from staff or a representative of Escape Bathhouse.

Group Bookings

If you are making a booking for a group, it is your responsibility to inform all participants about these Terms and Conditions, promote safe bathing practices, and provide them with relevant information including what to bring.

Code of Conduct

By booking with Escape Bathhouse, you agree to respect all bodies and the people in them. We have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to discrimination. We are an inclusive space that respects all bodies, shapes, sizes, colours, and abilities. Any discrimination, verbal or physical, or any sexual behaviour will result in immediate removal and permanent ban.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and keep indemnified Escape Bathhouse from and against any and all actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, taxes, liabilities, costs, and/or expenses that may be incurred by, or sustained by, Escape Bathhouse arising out of, or in connection with, your access to and use of our premises, facilities, our website, and any breaches of these Terms & Conditions committed by you.

Acknowledgment & Agreement

By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You have read and agree to the terms and conditions above.
• You acknowledge and accept the risks inherent in the use of the facilities.
• You understand that if you have any medical concerns, it is advisable that you seek medical advice prior to using any facilities.
• You will be respectful to other guests, bathhouse staff, and the equipment and space around you.
